Walking on Water Dinner

This past Saturday was an amazing night. After months of preparation, the Walking on Water fundraiser dinner was finally taking place. Despite the small amount of RSVPs... there were only 15, and the extreme worry that flooded my mind, God was amazing and brought 125 people to the event. He is faithful to do more than we can ask of imagine!

It was a lovely evening filled with fellowship, live music by Jessica Mclean (she has a new album out) and a great presentation by Bryan Jennings and Mike Doyle on Walking on Water's dream to share Jesus with the world through surf movies. The night was such a blessing and a great time of being reminded that God can give us our dreams.

In case your not familiar with Walking on Water I'll educate you for a moment. It's a Christian surfing ministry based in San Diego, CA. Our good friend Bryan Jennings started it almost 12 years ago when he hosted a surf camp for kids. Since then it's become a more than just weekly surf camps for all ages, it's also produced more than five surf movies that focus on the love of God. Noah's Arc was released two and a half years ago and since then has been to almost every major surfing country in the world. It's been viewed by hundreds of thousands of people!
