wow, there is no way i could possibly list all the things jesse and i have done in the last two weeks while on the walking on water movie east coast tour. it was two of the greatest weeks of our lives. words can't describe what an honor it is to serve the Lord, and how wonderful He is that we are able to have so much fun doing it! one of the most beautiful sights is in a photo below: seeing 3100 empty seats, and then seeing every single chair filled with people watching a movie about Jesus. it was amazing! that was in virginia beach by the way... and they still had to make a couple hundred watch it in the hallway on a big screen, and close the doors to about 1000 others. (the pics of the motorcross guys is also in vb... this all took place at the convention center)
in two weeks we visited: coco beach, flagler beach, melbourne beach, myrtle beach, wilmington, outer banks, virginia beach, new jersey, and new york city. please check out the classy r.v. below... "clark, that there's an rrrrr veee. don't you go fallin in love with it". fourteen of us managed to squeeze into that stinky thing with no a.c. and travel up the coast. it was lovely. hot, but lovely.
a lot of our friends and family were there to support us at many different premieres. we would like to thank rodney and sheila for traveling three hours up the coast to see us in melbourne. rick and jennie joined us in beautiful myrtle beach; also chelsea and wes drove up two hours from charleston. marsha and roman got in on the fun in wilmington. lynn and nance put on the event in the outer banks. and our great friends dan, jess, and jill took incredible care of us in new jersey. THANK YOU all for being there for us, praying for us, feeding us, and bringing people to the movie!
unfortunately my camera card is temporarily out of service, so i do not have the pictures from new york city. i was actually brave and rode the train to and fro the city, and also forced myself to hop on the subway a couple of times. it was fun wandering around that crazy place with all 14 of us... we shopped, ate hot dogs and pizza, went to museums, walked through central park and saw a broadway show.
after showing the movie to at least 9000 people in those two weeks, jesse and i have finally returned home. naturally we came back to 20 foot waves, brown grass, dead plants, piles of laundry, unpaid bills, and our precious pets... but it was totally worth it! part of the group is still on the road for another few days back in florida... so pray for them. we feel so blessed to have been a part of such an awesome group of people and to see God do amazing things. PTLATP (praise the Lord, answer to prayer)
