PRAY FOR TRICIA

as i write this, tricia is in surgery now getting her new lungs. we've all been praying for this for months. three months to be exact. i first read their blog around the new year (january 2nd, i think) when she really started having complications due to cystic fibrosis and being pregnant. three months later she's not only experienced the miracle of her daughter, gwyneth rose, but is now in the process of receiving another miracle, and gift from a donor, that will change her life. a double-lung transplant. can you believe it? can you imagine? put yourself in her shoes for a moment. put yourself in nate's shoes. if you've been reading with so many of us at http://www.cfhusband.blogspot.com/ then you know what an amazing person tricia is; what an amazing family her, nate, and gwyneth are; and what an amazing God we serve. i hope you will be praying for tricia, the doctors, nate and family, and the donor's family (as someone lost their life, but gave life at the same time).

**Lord Jesus, we thank You for the gift of life. God, we pray that you would be with the surgeons and doctors. Please give them wisdom and discernment throughout this surgery. Please continue to be with Tricia and her body. Thank You that You are the Ultimate Physician. We pray for calmness, peace, and faith for Nate and their families. Thank You for the light they have been and for their willingness to be used by You. We also ask that You comfort the donor's family and bring them peace and joy as they understand that another life can be saved through their loved one. Thank You Jesus for Your life and Your death on the cross. We love You, and ask these things in Your holy and powerful Name. Amen.**
