below jesse takes a cat nap in our 7 year anniversary gift to one another (june 2nd). we're getting old and becoming homebodies, so for our special day we thought it would be fun to do get doughnuts, coffee, a new hammock, do some yard work and go out to dinner. those are my favorite kinds of days... surfing was the only thing missing. i know it looks like jesse is slaving away in these photos, but i did all the mulch and weeding work... i took a lil siesta in the hammock too.
this picture with hank in the veggie box is very recent and shows how much our garden has grown in two weeks (it's hard to get pictures in order on the blog).
this is jesse building our totally awesome vegetable garden box. we're growing two types of tomatoes, delicious okra, squash and peppers (which some kind of beast has been munching on lately).
my mom raised these sunflowers from seeds then transported them up to me a month ago. they are finally blooming and getting really tall. so sweet.
marriage has been one of the greatest gifts God has ever given us. seven years has flown by! i look forward to seventy-seven more years of love... okay maybe we won't live that long, but if we did, i would be happy as long as jesse was right there beside me.

o whit! you bring tears to my eyes! congrats on your 7th! i can still remember the first year of yawls marriage and living beside you guys. were they not good times or what? playing hide and go seek with brandon and hank down on harbor island. man, take me home country roads. i remember yawl leaving for cali also. man i was like soooooooo upset! you guys are such an awesome couple and have set so many examples for me and so many others. love you guys! happy seventh (nahce distacth) bott
