proud to be an american!

summer is really here now. i always feel like 4th of july kicks off the cookouts, the heat, the hurricanes and enjoying the outdoors. what a great country we live in! if you haven't thanked God for your freedom lately, you should!

even miss sugar and mister sebi got to play a little in the water.
jesse and i decided to show our true patriotism throughout the whole day. we wore red, white, and blue and even decorated our bikes. i was pretty proud of the flag that i attached to the back of my beach cruiser. she looked real good blowing in the wind. i think i saw people laughing at me as they drove past us on the roads.

first thing we did on independence day was go over to the beachams and hang out with the fam. rach and brad fed us lunch, took us fishing on their boat, and we all played by the pool. me and uncle jess also got to explore the sound/marsh around their house with emily and seth. it was awesome.
emily and seth also recently learned how to ride their bikes. below, seth shows us his skills. they are such stinkin' cute kids.
a yummy display of freedom and pride. avalon pier baby, yeah! some of the best fireworks i've ever seen.
my american hunk.

you gotta love old glory.
