"We ain't no kind of paintin' pro-fessionals" were the words of one Brittany Doyle as she tediously painted each railing post on our loft. In the beginning, we really felt that painting wasn't anybodies strong point (except maybe Brent and Ron, who are professional painters)... but as two weeks of non-stop painting have passed, you could say that we are getting pretty darn good at working a paintbrush... just don't look too closely. The task is almost fully complete. All that is left is a little bit of trim and staining the stairs; other than that, the giant barn is technically finished. Yesterday Brittany and I painted the kitchen light blue to accent the green coutnertops and red sink light. Next, we beautified the bookshelf with coral along the back walls. We have some plans for colors in the bedrooms, but we may have to wait on that... Let me know your thoughts. As we are always open for suggestions! We have our final inspection on Monday and eagerly anticipate the "OK" to move in on Wednesday. Thank you Jesus!! I'll be in New Jersey working, but I think Jesse will do a fantastic job of filling the house with a five years collection of furniture, art, lamps, old crap, etc.
