"All-World"

My stepdad, Roman, loves to tell people "you're all-world". Well, two weeks ago my mom and Roman visited us for the weekend. It was "all-world" Roman's birthday had just passed and Jesse's was taking place, so we celebrated both of their birthdays on a Sunday night with cake, ice cream, desserts, presents, and friends. It was a grand evening.

The following day we ventured back into the woods behind our house. There is the most gorgeous ridge filled with amazing trees covered in red, orange, and yellow leaves. It was like being in the mountains, but not. Along the covered path through the forest were old hunting stands, old cars, an old bridge, an old barn, and old trees. It was heaven on earth for me, I love some old stuff. Jesse brought his machete to take care of pesky branches and deadly snakes. Roman brought his 7'10" body to frighten any bears or bobcats that may have been lurking. Mom and I brought our loud, high-pitched, non-stop voices to scare away anything else!

The day was perfect, we even ate cake for lunch! The weekend was "all-world". If you ever come to visit, be sure to bring your boots, camelback, energy and love for the outdoors...
