Dew you LOVE Thanksgiving or what?

My brother, Chad, loves his Mountain Dew. While most of us prefer sweet tea with our tasty Thanksgiving meal consisting of turkey, collards, mashed potatoes, and cranberry sauce, Chad prefers a "dew" chased down with mom's famous chocolate cake. Only a true southerner knows the feeling.

Thanksgiving has come and gone, but the memories will last a lifetime. We ate, slept, played rummy, watched Elvis, watched movies, and enjoyed constant entertainment of our three wild dogs. We gave ultimate thanks to the Lord for all of His amazing love and goodness, and for our family and friends. Then we gave thanks to mom for cooking, cleaning, and cooking some more. We also gave thanks to April for buying Chad a new banjo that we all had a good time trying to play... Hank was the professional though. And of course we gave thanks to Roman for getting the TV set up and making sure there were continuous movies throughout the day... and night.

We were blessed by lots of company dropping by to visit us and see my mom's house that was once my beloved Granny and Grandaddy's... it's beautiful now! Thanks to all of you who came over or met us out and about! Below you will see a precious couple, Paul and Lisa, who drove over fifteen hours to see us (and a few others)... they're from Barbados and flew into Miami. We haven't seen them in over two years. Thanks you guys!!!! Brandon, Hank, Catherine, Dave, Jess, Pete, DJ, Selah, Kyle, Ligon, Joel, and many others blessed our journey back to my hometown. It was like the good ole days. Nothing like Thanksgiving to bring everyone together again.... thank You Jesus for our loved ones, this country and Your grace!
