Couch Sores

After what seems like an eternity of sitting inside watching rain, snow, wind, and chilly temperatures outside the windows, the Lord put a pause on the precipitation so we could get out of the house for a while. Hank Carter, Jesse and I's buddy from my hometown (Wrightsville Beach), came for a visit during the worst weather we've had in months. It seems as though every time he comes up to see us there is no sunlight and a freak cold front blows through. This week we've done no more than play cards, watch TV, cook fattening meals, and take cat naps. We decided that no matter what, we're gonna roast some marshmallows and sit by a fire... and we did just that! Sebi and Sugar also enjoyed stretching their legs and keeping toasty by the barrel of flames... Sugar was also stoked on all the sausage and hamburgers that fell on the ground; it was a great night.
