Life is Good

My apologies for the long delay in updating our blog... sadly, my camera may have bitten the dust. During a very successful crab-hunting session I dropped my beloved camera and it hasn't worked since. The good news was we caught 40 delicious blue crabs and mastered the art of wrangling in those lil' bottom-dwellers, the bad news was the camera saw it's last day and I couldn't download all the fantastic crabbing photos to my computer.

Since the death of my camera (way back in June) we have been staying busy, but having a blast. Summer is here, and quickly passing. I'm working part time at the in-laws surf shop; Jesse's been traveling and made the cover of ESM last month; Sebi, Sugar, and Hank are all loving the great outdoors; many people have visited; we conquered Water Country USA; we went to Wilm.; and the waves have FINALLY picked up! We are so thankful to the Lord for His many blessings.

Currently two of our best friends are in town, Kimber and Jamie, with our absolutely adorable godchildren, Cason and Elisa. We have been spending quality time together in church (Jamie preached an amazing sermon at Liberty), at the pool, on the beach, and at Brad and Rachel's house... I'm hoping I can somehow put some of the photos on here so you can all drool over these beautiful kids!

I'll try to check in more frequently despite the lack of fun and exciting pictures. I know reading my long entries can be boring. Until next time... take care and stay safe!

"Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Share with God's people who are in need. Practice hospitality.
Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good."

-Romans 12:12, 13, 21
