extreme bikin' and some thankin'

okay, so i've lost my camera charger and have been forced to use my cellular telephone device as a form of photographic machinery. jesse continues to surf the vast seashores of uruguay and i continue to work and be entertained by my friends. this specific shot was taken many miles back in the woods of kitty hawk. it was so amazing! nicole and i (niki and whickey) decided to venture off the common pathways and do a little exploring on the "kitty hawk woods" trails deep in the heart of who knows where. at one point we were lost and came across a barn and house we have never seen before... thoughts of predators, snakes, bears, beasts, and bobcats filled my mind. however, being on beach cruisers, not mountain bikes, really made me feel safe and secure as we dashed up and down hilly areas and through swamp infested meccas. it was a fun day. i love adventure... behind my house!

as jesse's trip is hopefully coming to an end, with his return in two days, i want to thank some special folks for making these last two weeks fly by. many thanks to rachel beacham (my wonderful sister-n-law) for snuggling with me one night and preparing me many delicious meals. also, brittany doyle became my temporary roomate and made me coffee and breakfast every morning, sometimes lunch and dinner, and washed dishes nonstop. sister kay (my pastor's wife) was kind enough to leave her family to fend for themselves one evening and come keep me company... we rode bikes to watch the sunset, ate pizza, and played scrabble. it was great. at this time i would also like to thank whitney, sam, chris, nic, jess, brant, bethany, brandon, noah, corissa, kym, and obbc for being fantastic friends too, and hanging out with me while jesse has been away! God is too good to me and has blessed me with wonderful people and support. thanks y'all!!!!
