above is the water country crew for my b-day back in june. hank and brandon came all the way up from wrightsville beach to celebrate my older-than-dirt birthday. thanks guys. below is mr. and mrs. hines sylin' and profilin'.
check out my scary face in this one. i was totally faking it for the crowd watching. although it does get very dark and hot inside this ride.
hank just got elbowed in the face while the picture was being taken. this is my favorite photo on this post!
wes (from charleson), adam (from cali), and hank (from wrightsville beach) all came up for the waves one weekend. there's nothing like good fellowship and funny photos.
jesse's friends decided to play a mean joke on him. jesse HATES snakes. so his buddies caught a big black one, and put it in the back of his truck under a bucket. jesse thought it was something else til he lifted it a little here and saw the black scaly body. he freaked... see below.
it took him about ten solid minutes just to get the nerve to take the bucket out of the truck. then it took him five more minutes (and something taller to stand on) before he would let the snake go. check out his weapon. what a wuss, ha ha.
you know i love a good canoe ride! here's me jess and mrs. bethany doyle "the queen". we kept calling her that because we were paddling her around.

this is our friend, kohlman, from california. it was his first time on the seas of the outer banks. i think he was a little terrified of seeing a snake... i don't blame him. however, nic is a fantastic hunter.
below is jesse and i dressed up in "business" attire for my fellow workmate's going away party. sam is off to n.y.u. law school and tony is going to music and film school in florida. everyone had to wear a tie and look business-like. jesse loved his nasty shoes. he held them up in every other picture. i think my dad wore those when he was a car salesman in the 80s.
here's the whole group saying farewell to sam and tony. we're going to miss them at the shop! when you spend close to 40 hours a week with people, they feel like family. sam is the closest guy to the camera with a blue tie. tony is the farthest person on the right with the grey shirt and black tie. they are both great guys and hard workers! do you see jesse with his shoe?
